Amazone is equipping its ZG-TX combination lime and mineral fertilizer spreader with new features. The series update includes an integrated weighing system and the FlowControl automatic application rate control for lime.
The new weighing system uses two load cells between the axle and frame, as well as a sensor in the drawbar, to measure the weight and displays the values on the ISOBUS control terminal. According to the manufacturer, it enables fill level indication, offline flow control, and automatic calibration without manual density determination. FlowControl utilizes new gearboxes with torque measurement to automatically adjust the application rate when applying lime.
The new features are available for all ISOBUS versions of the ZG-TX, including the ZG-TX Super with 21 t and the ZG-TX Special with 12.5 t maximum permissible machine weight.
