Austrian tractor maker Lindner Traktoren has unveiled the Lindner Unitrac 122 E its first fully electric multi-purpose transporter prototype. The Unitrac 122 E was unveiled ahead of its live appearance at the Lindner Innovation Days in Kundl, Austria. This battery-powered utility vehicle is designed for demanding municipal, forestry, and agricultural applications with first models due to hit the market in 2028.
Functional Versatility
The vehicle transitions Lindner’s successful Unitrac 122 platforms from conventional diesel power into zero-emission operations. It continues to support multi-circuit hydraulics and mechanized power take-off (PTO) functions, making it fully compatible with specialized attachment tools for winter maintenance, street sweeping, and mountain farming tasks.
To date, over 3,500 Unitrac models have been produced. The Unitrac is the all-terrain combination of transport vehicle and equipment carrier, Lindner claims that its variety of equipment is just as large as its areas of application.
The Unitrac can be used universally from transport to agriculture and forestry, landscape maintenance, to municipal and winter service. More than 10,000 attachments for the Unitrac system are in use across Europe and make both the stepless LDrive models and the switched P5 transporters versatile equipment carriers for year-round use.
