With increasing forest fires across Europe and Ireland, the Dutch-based Kenbri Fire Fighting manufacturing company has unveiled the new Agrifire Pro 4.500, a new modular design firefighting system for tractors and shown on a Fendt tractor. It transforms a standard tractor into a powerful firefighting unit for forest and vegetation fires.
The rear-mounted unit houses a 4,500-liter water tank and a PTO-driven fire pump with a delivery rate of 1,500 l/min. A remote-controlled roof monitor and a remote-controlled suction arm for drawing water from open water sources allow for firefighting operations from a safe distance. The system can be expanded with the Coolfire high-pressure extinguishing unit (up to 300 bar), which the company claims penetrates materials and cools burning areas with a fine water mist.
