New Škoda Epiq offers an electric compact option

The new Škoda Epiq extends Škoda Auto’s successful electric portfolio into the entry-level segment, combining compact dimensions with a spacious interior and high everyday usability. In its base variant, the Epiq is the most affordable fully electric Škoda model, prices will start from €24,559 including the SEAI Grant and VRT Rebate. The city SUV crossover plays a key role in Škoda’s electric portfolio and, together with the Peaq, will double the brand’s all-electric model range.

The Epiq is the first Škoda model to be built on the new MEB+ platform and the brand’s first all-electric model with front-wheel drive. With a range of around 435 kilometres and fast DC charging from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 24 minutes, the Epiq is suited to both city driving and longer journeys. The compact SUV crossover features typical Škoda values such as spaciousness and practicality and the 475 litre luggage compartment is among the largest in its class. The Epiq will also be equipped with segment leading features, such as the mobile digital key, Vehicle to Load (V2L) & Vehicle to Home (V2H) capabilities, along with one pedal driving technology.

The exterior design is defined by clean lines, clarity and refined details. In addition to the glossy black Tech-Deck Face, a key element is the new T-shaped light signature in both front and rear, which will also characterise future Škoda SUV models. On the inside, the Škoda Epiq offers a spacious, functional interior, complemented by a 475 litre boot and additional storage solutions. The clear, intuitive interior layout follows the Modern Solid design philosophy. Durable materials, physical controls and a wide range of Simply Clever features enhance everyday practicality.

Irish customers will have the option of multiple different Epiq trims to suit all driving needs. The trimlines include the Epiq Choice, Essence, Selection, and Sportline, and will feature two gross battery options of 38.5 or 55 kWh depending on the chosen trim.

Škoda Ireland will begin taking orders for the Selection 55 trim as of launch, with the remaining trims available for ordering from Q3 of 2026. Units are expected be on the ground for the 271 registration plate. The new Škoda Epiq expands Škoda’s all-electric line-up in the important A0-SUV entry-level segment, providing customers with an even broader electric portfolio to choose from.
