Mahindra & Mahindra Tractor sales are increasing

Indian tractor manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a significant increase in tractor sales for May 2026, with the bulk of the sales in the home market. Mahindra & Mahindra sold a total of 47,845 tractors in May 2026, compared to 38,914 units in the same month of the previous year (an increase of 23%).

Total sales from domestic and export business amounted to 49,695 units, compared to 40,643 units in May 2025. Exports rose to 1,850 units or 7% in the same reporting month, according to the company.

Veejay Nakra, President of the Farm Equipment division at Mahindra & Mahindra, said that his high growth was driven by timely completion of Rabi harvesting and favourable terms of trade for farmers.
