The latest market reports show that 2,278 new tractors were registered in Germany in June. This is a small 1.1% increase compared to the same month last year, while overall, the market for the first six months of 2026 is down by 2.6%, compared with the same period in 2025.
Fendt retained its place as the market leader with 615 units, or a 27.0% market share. John Deere was the next nearest brand with 386 units registered or a 17.0% market share. The total CNH share which includes Case IH, New Holland and Steyr recorded a figure of 225 units or a 9.9% market share. Claas was fourth with 187 units registered or 8.2% market share, followed by Deutz-Fahr with 147 units and Kubota 140 units.
