Fendt is back at Highland Show 2022

After a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Fendt are happy to be back at next week’s Royal Highland Show, exhibiting our leading products to the customers of Scotland, the North of England and further afield.

Our stunning Fendt Ideal 9T combine is making a return to Ingliston this year, this time coupled to a 40ft Gerringhoff header. The model on display also features our innovative joystick control, meaning there is no steering wheel. This gives an uninterrupted view of the header and feed system, a feature that is unique to Fendt.

We will also be exhibiting a range of our award winning Fendt tractors, all driven by our market leading Vario transmission. On display will be a Fendt 211 Vario, Fendt 312 Vario, Fendt 724 Vario and finally a Fendt 942 Vario. All machines are fitted with the latest FendtONE interior, offer users fantastic comfort and ease of operation and customers will be able to find out more about the features and benefits this on board and off board system has to offer.

We will have one of our Fendt Rotana 160 V round balers on display. With its unique hydroflex floor, choice of 13, 17 or 25 knife cutting unit and three options of control unit, this baler really does suit every customer and turns out perfectly formed, consistent bales, reliably, year after year.

On display for the first time is the Fendt Cargo T740 telehandler. This new telehandler incorporates many of the features found in it’s bigger brother, the Fendt Cargo T955, but is aimed directly at the agricultural sector. Featuring a 7.70m metre working height, with a 4 tonne maximum load capacity, it’s the Fendt TopViewCab that lifts this machine above the rest. The cab can be raised to an eye level of 4.10 metres and thus allows the operator a direct view into trailers or feeder mixers during loading. It’s certainly likely to be the one of the most innovative machines on display.

This year’s visitors will also have the opportunity to examine the detail of Fendt’s RoGator 645 self-propelled sprayer. With tank capacities of between 3,850 and 6,300 litres and all with choice of boom widths from 24m to 36m – each machine has section control, variable rate control and VarioDoc Pro, all of which work in harmony to give unmatchable performance and consistency in the field.

Finally, we will be displaying one of our front mounted Fendt Slicer FQ mowers, showing the innovative hydraulic suspension system, giving leading ground follow characteristics to make sure you get as much crop as possible whilst leaving the perfect finish on the sward.
