In advance of Agritechnica 2025, the German farm machinery company Rauch has announced an independent, cross-manufacturer software platform called FieldEngine. FieldEngine was developed jointly with Krone, Zunhammer, and Nexat and is intended as an alternative to proprietary solutions from individual companies. The open platform is designed to enable practical digital farm management and supports area and machine management, application maps, and documentation.
To ensure broad machine compatibility, FieldEngine supports established standards such as ISOXML and the agrirouter platform. The system is currently being rolled out in pilot farms in German-speaking countries, with international expansion planned.
